How we check our plumbers

Every plumber we pass jobs to holds a current NSW contractor licence. We check it on the NSW Government register before they join. The plumbers run their own businesses. The one you choose does the work and sets the price.

How do we check a plumber's licence?

They apply

Each plumber gives us their NSW contractor licence number, and tells us which kinds of work it covers.

We check the register

We look the licence up on the NSW public register before the plumber joins.

They join

Only once the licence checks out does the plumber start getting jobs.

How can I check a plumber's licence myself?

Use the NSW Government's public register, Verify licence. Search by licence number or name, and check three things:

The licence is current. The name matches the person at your door. The licence covers your job, such as drainage or gas work.

Ask the plumber who calls you for their licence number. You can check any plumber this way, including ours. A good plumber will not mind.

Do the plumbers work for you?

No. They are independent businesses. They set their own prices, do the work and answer for it. We pass on your request, and the plumbers pay us a fee for each one. We do not do plumbing work.
